The Catholic Church’s Confirmation Program is a two-year program beginning in the 8th grade and covers the main components of our Catholic faith, including (but not limited to) Scripture, Holy Trinity, Church history, and prayer. See information on both years below:
Confirmation Year One (8th grade) will support the teens to deepen their relationship with God through engaging and relevant content for their faith journey.

Confirmation Year Two (9th grade), is for teens (now called Candidates) entering their second year of our Confirmation Formation/Preparation.

Roots us more deeply in the divine filiation [being adopted as sons and daughters of God the Father] which makes us cry, “Abba! Father!”
Unites us more firmly to Jesus Christ.
Increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us.
Renders our bond with the Church [the Body of Christ] more perfect.
Gives us a special strength of the Holy Spirit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ, to confess the name of Christ boldly, and never to be ashamed of the Cross.
